Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Diagnosis

Many deadly diseases in the world and Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma are one from that diseases.

In the modern world, cancer is becoming a very common disease. There are many kinds of cancers, one from them is Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Like other abnormal cell that dies after a while, cancer cells keep them alive and grow more and more and spread all over the body.

This lymphoma can grow in any part of the body. Cells become a cancer cell after the DNA is damaged of a normal cell. In cancer cell, DNA is damage is not repair and cell keeps on making new infected cell. This is how cancer spreads in the body from part to another. Cancer spread in the body and becomes tumor. Tumors are formed when cancer cells substitute normal cells and this method of conversion are called metastatic.

They get active when they enter blood or lymph cells of the body. There are different kinds of cancers such as lung cancer, liver cancer, and blood cancer. Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is also a very rare kind of cancer.

Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is also known as NHL or lymphoma. This cancer is caused in the lymphocytes cells. Lymphocytes are the immune system cells. They found as nodes and tissues such as spleen and born marrow.

There are two kinds of lymphoma – Hodgkins disease and Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. They difference is made on their spread and treatment response. Main difference is made by a close look to tissues under microscopes.

Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer symptoms

Non-Hodgkins lymphoma lymphoid tissues can be found anywhere in the body, major tissues are :

  • Lymph Nodes
  • They are bean shaped organs, which are connected with vessels. The lymphatic vessels carry white blood cells, but after being infected, they start to carry cancer. The enlargement of the blood vessels and lymph nodes is the sign of Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

  • Spleen
  • Spleen makes the white blood cells and lymphocytes fight against danger. It keeps the blood cells, which are healthy and filter the waste and bacterial blood cell.

  • Thymus gland

  • It also plays a vital role in producing white blood cells.

  • Bone marrow
  • It makes bloods platelets, red and white blood cells. It is inner soft part of certain bone. It makes two kinds of white blood cells-granulocytes and lymphocytes.
